Dates <\/strong><\/p>\n

As regards holiday letting, Suaeda Cottage will be closed for essential works during the first half of 2026.<\/strong> It should be possible to book stays from mid-July onwards. As in previous years,\u00a0Friday will be the main changeover day<\/strong>, so full-week bookings will run from Friday to Friday. Bookings during the school summer holidays will be for full weeks only, but three-or four-night stays will be on offer\u00a0from 4 September<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Prices<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2025, a week at Suaeda Cottage will cost \u00a3650, \u00a3700 <\/strong>or \u00a3750<\/strong> depending on the time of year and before any discounts.<\/p>\n

Shorter stays will cost 65% of the weekly rate for a three-night stay<\/strong> and 80% of the weekly rate for a four-night stay.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Two types of discount are offered:<\/strong>
\n\u00a350 for returning guests<\/strong> (applies to full weeks only).
\n\u00a330 for guests who will only be using one bedroom<\/strong> (not offered between 18 July and 5 September). You\u2019ll need to let me know on booking and say which bedroom you\u2019ll be using, double or twin.
\nThe two discounts aren\u2019t mutually exclusive, but in practice, there probably won\u2019t be many cases where both are applicable.<\/p>\n

Things to bear in mind<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Guests can arrive any time from 4.00 p.m.<\/strong> On the day of your departure, you\u2019ll need to be ready to leave by 10.00 a.m.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Prices include bedlinen, hand towels and kitchen\/table linen<\/strong>, but not bath or beach towels.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Unless you\u2019re receiving the one-bedroom discount, you\u2019re welcome to use the sofa-bed in the attic<\/strong> for overnight guests (it has two single foam mattresses), but extra bedlinen will not be provided.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • We welcome up to two friendly dogs on request<\/strong> (non-dangerous breeds only), but please don\u2019t allow them on beds or leave them alone<\/strong> in the house or garden.<\/li>\n
  • There is no dedicated parking<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

    Booking<\/strong><\/p>\n

    For 2026 lets, you will be asked to pay 25% of the rent as a deposit when you book and the remaining 75%, plus a \u00a350 security\/services deposit, six weeks before the beginning of your stay.
    \nIn the event of cancellation, the 25% booking deposit will be fully refundable up to six weeks before the beginning of your stay. If you cancel your booking closer to the time of your stay, the amount refunded will depend on the reasons for cancellation.
    \nThe \u00a350 security\/services deposit will be refunded a month after the end of your stay, less the cost of any losses\/damage and services \u2013 breakages, phonecall charges (over a first \u00a35 on the house), postage of items left behind, and so on.
